  • When should I have my cart out?

    Please place your cart at the curb the night before, or by 5:00am on your scheduled pickup day.

  • Cart Placement Instructions

    Place carts curbside with the wheels facing the house. If you have more than one cart, place them side by side NO CLOSER THAN 3 FEET TO EACH OTHER. 


    Placement instructions are also on the lid of your cart.



    Common Garbage Can Placement Problems


    1. Too Close Garbage Cart Placement

    -Your containers should be approximately 3 FEET APART for driver access. The space also allows for the mechanical arms on our trucks to reach between the containers.


    2. Backward Garbage Cart Placement

    -The wheels on your cart should face the home. The front of your container has a metal bar that needs to face the street and be accessed by the garbage truck.


    3. Stacked Garbage Cart Placement:

    -Your containers should be placed at the curb SIDE BY SIDE. Stacked containers (2nd cart behind the 1st cart) can cause delays and missed pick ups.

  • How to request a replacement cart?

    If your cart is stolen or damaged, you may request a replacement by calling our office at 316-633-0775 or using our Contact Us Form. A replacement fee of $75 will apply.

  • Do you pick up bulky items?

    We do not pickup bulk items. Our sister company at Legacy Dumpster Rentals offers roll off dumpsters you can rent for large amounts of waste or large bulky items.

  • What size of carts do you offer?

    You have the option between 96 or 65 gallon carts.

  • Can I have more than one cart?

    Yes, additional carts at the same address get a discounted rate per cart.

  • What CAN'T I put in my cart?

    Items NOT allowed include


    Motor Oil

    Paint

    Batteries

    Chemicals/Aerosols

    Appliances

    Auto Parts

    Medical Waste

    Construction Materials & Debris

    *For large, non-hazardous waste, you may rent a roll off dumpster from our sister company Legacy Dumpster Rentals

  • What if my service is stopped for non-payment?

    If the account becomes more than seven (7) days past due, your account will be placed in “STOP SERVICE” status. You MUST USE OUR CONTACT FORM to re-activate your account and pay any balance due at that time. There are no credits issued during the time your account is on “STOP SERVICE”. Once payment has been made and your account is current, all trash that has accumulated during this time will be removed on your next scheduled day.


    There is a $25 reactivation fee

  • Do you do HOA or Community Association plans?

    Yes! Please see our HOA & Group Service page to submit a request, or call us at 316-633-0775 for a personalized quote!

  • Can I add my house number to the trash can?

    Yes, with stick-on numbers only. We ask that you put the stick-on numbers on the front above the hook bar. Do NOT use permanent marker or spray paint anywhere on the trash can. There will be a $40 cleaning fee to remove anything other than stick on numbers.

  • Do I own the trash cart?

    No. ICT Trash Service owns the trash can. It is an asset to us and if you should end your service it will be collected. If it is not returned you will be charged $75.00 for the price of the trash can.

  • Can I pay my bill over the phone?

    Yes, but there is a $5 fee for over the phone payments. Visit our Pay My Bill page for quicker options without the fee. Keep in mind you can set up autopay as well.


    **First time phone payments with autopay set up will NOT have any fee**

  • How to pay my bill?

    You may Pay Your Bill online with ACH (preferred), Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover card, or by debit card. Visit our Pay My Bill page where you can access your customer portal . If you would like to pay by phone, there is a $5 fee (fee is waived if setting up autopay). Cash or check payments may be arranged by calling our office at 316-633-0775.

  • How do I report a missed pickup?

    Missed pickups are rare but sometimes unavoidable. If this happens, please call our office and we will advise on your next move. If your pickup was missed because your cart was not placed at the curb, you will have to wait until next week's pickup, or schedule an extra pickup for $20.
